Reservation Policies for Safe & Enjoyable Stay in Gatlinburg at Park Place Condos
Upon check-in, you must present a photo ID (Valid Driver’s License) that matches the reservation holder name. The reservation holder can name and authorize an additional adult (21 years or older) to check in prior to the reservation holder’s arrival. This authorized adult will also be required to show their photo ID that matches the name the reservation holder has previously given. The credit card used for reservation payments, the credit card holder and matching ID must be present at check-in.
Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in begins at 3pm & Check-out is 11am. Units are normally ready by 3pm, but on heavy turn around days, check-in is not guaranteed until units have been cleaned and inspected & keys or entry will not be allowed until such. Late check-ins can be arranged by contacting our rental office by 5pm on or before your scheduled day of arrival. Park Place Condos makes every effort to accommodate every guest request, however we do reserve the right to move guest(s) to a condo that is comparable to the condo of original reservation in the event of a unit being uninhabitable for any reason. Park Place Condos does not refund for early departures.
Minimum Night Stay Requirements: We always require at least a 2 night minimum. Major Holiday’s require is a 3 Night Minimum. Car Shows & other Special Events require a 3 Night Minimum. Thanksgiving is a 3 night minimum. Christmas & New Year’s Eve require a 3 Night Minimum. Minimum Night stays are consecutive in same unit.
Deposits & Payments: 1st Night Deposit is due at time of booking. The remaining balance is due at check in. We accept Visa/MasterCard/Discover & American Express. Payment method must match reservation holder(s) name. Must be 21 Years of Age: A guest must be 21 years old to reserve and to check-in to unit. Any guest checking-in to a unit must stay in control of unit and make sure all policies are followed by any person staying with them. The adult guest checking into unit must remain present & in control at all times. Noise levels must be kept to a minimum to ensure all guests have an enjoyable vacation. This includes all pool areas as well.
Smoking/Pet Policy: Park Place is a Non-Smoking Property and pets are not allowed except in pet friendly units. If any guest is observed smoking inside of a condo or on any of the balconies, there will be a $150.00 fee for a 2 bedroom unit and a $200.00 fee for a 3 bedroom unit. This includes: Cigarettes, Vaping and/or E-Cigarettes.
Condo Occupancy: Occupancy limits are set by the TN State Fire Marshall’s office & may not be exceeded. 2 Bedroom Condos are allowed a maximum of 6-8 people. Three bedroom condos will allow a maximum of 8-12 persons.
Fire Safety: There is a fire evacuation map on the back of each condo entry door and you will find a fire extinguisher under each kitchen sink inside of the condo. There is no assigned parking at our Condo Properties. WE CANNOT ACCOMMODATE CHARTER BUSES AT OUR PROPERTY.
Pools & Property Amenities: The seasonal outdoor pool and hot tub areas are open from 9am-10pm. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the pool and swimming areas. Opening and closing dates for the seasonal pool and hot tub may vary, please consult the reservation office before finalizing your vacation plans.
Starter Supplies: We provide a starter supply of Toilet Paper (1 roll per bathroom), Paper Towels (1 roll in kitchen), Dishwasher Detergent (1 pack), Dish Liquid (1 bottle), Trash Liners (1 per trash can). Hand and bath soap bars, facial tissue, all bed linens, and bath linens are furnished. The kitchen has full size appliances including a microwave. All units have a washer and dryer located in the unit.
Quiet Hours: Quiet Hours are here for all guest enjoyment and are in place from 11pm – 9am daily. Park Place will not tolerate disruptive behavior from any guest at any time and reserves the right to ask any guest to vacate the properties due to any disruptive or illegal behavior. There will be no refunds given & all monies will be forfeited.
Housekeeping Services: There is no daily housekeeping services. Units are professionally cleaned before arrival and after departure. All reservation totals include the unit cleaning fee. There are washer/dryers in each condo as well.
Cancellation Policy: From date of booking until 7 days prior to arrival, cancellation is allowed with a fee of $40.00. There will be a $40.00 cancellation fee deducted from your booking deposit & the remainder will be refunded back to guest. Once inside the 7 days prior to arrival there will be no refunds. Date Changes: Date changes are allowed up until your 7 day cancellation date. Once you are inside the cancellation period, there are no date or unit changes allowed. In the event of an emergency: The above will apply with this exception. If you cancel within the 7 day cancellation period, the $40.00 fee will apply and be deducted from your deposit paid and the remaining amount will not be refunded but will be placed on file for you to apply toward another reservation within the next six months. You must notify the reservation department that you have a deposit on file and would like to apply it when you make the next reservation for your visit to Park Place.
Tax Exemption Rules: Your tax exemption form MUST be presented to Park Place Condos management at time of your reservation. We will not honor any tax exemption forms anytime inside the cancellation period or at/after check-out. Tax Exemption applies to the Tennessee State Tax, but not to Gatlinburg City Tax. Any reservation applying to use Tax Exemption must be made in the same name/Business name listed on the Government Tax Information Sheet provided. It cannot be in an individual’s name, not noted on the paperwork. The method of payment must also be in the same name listed on the Tax Exemption form, provided by the government.
